Starting a grow...

I have about 20 seeds planted in soild 'starter-kits', and another 15 or so in rockwool cubes. I planted these about 8 days ago. I saw the first little itty bitty sprout a few days ago. Last night when I went to bed I had 4 sprouts, this morning 6, and now 14. Holly Hell! I'll try to get you guys some pictures. It's all just bagseed, but homegrown bag seed is gonna be better then commercials..

Lighting: 40 watts double 2' 5000K Fluoros, and a 25 watt CFL

No ventilation yet, I was just seeing if I could get these things started, and I plan on putting them outside.

How long should I veg them inside for?

How tall should these bad girls (hopefully) be before I put them outside? I know I still got a little while yet before they can go, but I was just wondering..

Height? Age? My opinion?
