yeah you can have more plants. what kind of plants are you growing and in what space. whats your setup
The room is 5ft by 7ft by 8ft high. I have 2 jack herer and 1 white widow grown from cuttings in a grow bag together. I have a system that allows me to easily move the lights up and down, when necessary. I have a small fan in the room and a wall grill allows air circulation. I have another light that could go in another space (cupboard). Everything is on a timer, they have been flowering for 4wks.
what was the name of the section this post was in? pictures only or sumthing?
Surely you mean, what 'is' the name of the section this post 'is' in? Pictures only or something?
There is no excuse for bad spelling and grammer Phresh.
Anywho, why do you ask old boy?
Ideally you want to aim to have betwen 40 and 60 watts per sq.ft to get good results. And remember two 400W lights does not equal 800W.

Hey highgrade, thanx. Is that cubic feet or just the floor area?. What i really want to know, is how many plants my 2 lights could potentially support within the area that I have mentioned above?. A mate, lets call him Dave, suggests that I could get away with 16 plants. That seems a little high to me, waddaya say?.
Cheers, Sidey
I meant to put these on my last post on this subject, highgrade/THC etc, even though they are already posted. They dont look as good as most of what i've seen here, but this is where im at. Your comments would be appreciated.
16 would be ok if you did sea of green, 1 per square foot, but go with less for just a growing plant and lots of space for sativa dominate plants. remember when you dealing with lumens that the amounts you want and get are to different things a 400 watt light will put out half its orignal lumens after 9 months say to a year, then your plants will be starving for light so i recomend going above the recomend lumens and replacing you lights often! dont for a good reflective surface, flat white paint. how many plants you will get in your space is going to be affect buy your typ of grow (ex sog, scrog) type of plant indica sativa, space and size of pots or hydro setup!
