im going to take a blood test to see if i have high blood pressure, but when they're testing will they do any drug tests in the blood or only concentrate on just seeing if i have high blood pressure?
if they're testing will they possibly find thc too?
Are they taking a blood test to see if you have hypertension? That is a new one to me. To take blood pressure they use an arm cuff. They may test your blood if you do in fact have high blood pressure to see if you also have high cholestrol, etc, which may be the cause of your high BP. As far as testing for THC, if it's a standard doctor ordered blood test, they do not test for drugs. Your doctor can't tell anyone if you told him/her you smoked 2 ounces a day. That falls under that Patient Protection thing or whatver act it is called. Drug tests cost money, too. Normally not cheap, and your doc is not going to order one when he really has no need to.
On the flip side, if you do have high BP, and the doctor asks if you drink, smoke, use drugs, etc, you should be honest. There may be certain medications he may want to avoid if you are burning 2 joints a day or whatever.
Be sure you treat now. Beats the shit outa sitting around for the next 20 years half paralyzed because you had a stroke due to the hypertension. It's very simple to treat. One pill a day, excercise more, and dont eat 40 chicken wings a night:rasta:

i only have high blood pressure when im high. but after im sober my blodd pressure is normal. but im just wondering when they're checking the blood will they use chemicals that will reveal that ive been taking any drugs?
On who is ordering the test. If it is a regular doctor, you could simply tell him that when you get stoned you get high BP. Not sure how you know that, but apparently you do. Most likely they are going to test for high cholestrol because that can be a major cause of hypertension and may need treatment in order to help lower your BP, stoned or not. They also order a liver panel ( I think thats what it is called) because if your liver is not working correctly some meds are NOT for you. And most likely they will check to see if you are diabetic as well. From all the info you have provided, one can only guess at best, to say the least.
