Any advice for growing in the rain?

I've grown two varieties outdoors, and I would almost say that it was a waste of time. I live in the Pacific Northwest, and it starts to pour down rain before harvest time. Both varieties developed an alarming case of bud rot.

What do you guys do to avoid this? Do you just have to make sure that you grow a variety that does not get densly packed buds? If so, what are these varieties? Or are there other things you can do?

'Snow white' has dense buds if thats what you want, i don't know if this will help. about the rain problem, the only thing I can think of is to grow in a greenhouse

Greenhouses are not very stealthy, and I think I want the opposite of densly packed buds.

o sorry, i read you wrong. I grow under the shelter of a tree, but still get a high amount of light. look for a sativa strain if you want loose buds
