Euphoric, that link is for extracting the mescaline out of the cactus itself, which is not that difficult. To answer the question, no you can not extract pure mescaline out of the powdered incense... why would you want too, just to make it a smaller dose to take?

you can make a separatory funnel out of a 2 liter soda bottle and a pop top for a sports water bottle
just cut the bottom off the bottle and flip upside down and screw on the pop top
make a stand out of a box or something :-)
