Iran promises cooperation with UN nuclear inspectors

VIENNA - Iranâ??s top nuclear negotiator, Ali Larijani, promised that Iran would cooperate with United Nations inspectors during a meeting in Vienna with the head of the UNâ??s nuclear watchdog, Teheranâ??s ambassador to the body told AFP on Friday.

â??The discussion was that, of course, Iran is continuing its cooperation with the IAEA and that inspectors will continue their work in accordance with the NPT (nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty) comprehensive safeguards,â?� said Ali Asghar Soltanieh, the Iranian ambassador to the International Atomic energy Agency.

He was referring to Larijaniâ??s meeting with IAEA director general Mohamed ElBaradei.

Iran continues to honor its NPT safeguards obligations, which give the IAEA the power to verify that its nuclear material is not being diverted from peaceful to military uses.

yea this comes out after they find the traces of highly enriched uranium, which of course only has 1 purpose.

they have always been trying and claimed it was for enegry... why can we not just talk to one coutry before we try to blow it up??

By the way, when Bush is creating and testing Nukes, why should we not just attack him too?? Just because he is the president of amerika doesn't mean he has the right to create nukes as well.

For once, why not get just as pissed at our Dicktator who is creating bombs, unstead of another dictator, who is still years away from coming close to making the bombs we are spose to be destroying (which we aren't)... stop getting pissed at other countries when ours isn't any better...

Is Iran working on a nucleur weapon? They see Iraq, which gave up weapons and was invaded, and N Korea which built the bomb and wasn't. What conclusion could they draw except that they should get the bomb and get it now?

yeah we are the only country with the balls to do it. We didnt need a million dead when we invaded tokyo.... So we used the bomb and i have 2 japanese cars in my driveway.
