Has NE one tried this to help plants?

I have been wondering if this would work instead of buying silica to help stress and fight bugs and infections. Use as a mist on plants and add to water.. I grew up working in Nursery's with my family, and my uncle used to crush asprins in water before he sprayed the plants.. I had forgotten about this, till my wife added some to her roses to keep them fresher longer. and I thought .. Holy crap.. I wonder if this works with MJ.. any ideas?

Hmm not sure might be interesting though.
