I HAVE A 150W HPS IS THIS STRONG ENOUGH FOR A COUPLE OF PLANTS IN A SMALL GROWROOM.
how small of a grow room?, i have 2 plants each one with a 150 hps on them, what i did is make a box for each plant out of plywood the exact size it needed to be for the plant at full growth that way there is no wasted light. then covered the walls with aluminium foil (dull side out to prevent burn spots). It works good but im gonna put a couple low power flouro's on the sides of the plants for extra light on the lower leaves
how many as in a "couple" two, three, more? it depends, and wut is the size, in feet deminsions, cuz a smal 3x3x4 with 2 plants is hella different than 5x4x6 with 4, and you get the idea....
IT'S 2FT X 2FT AND 4FT HIGH
i reckon a 250 watt would do for that space,im usin a 250 watt mh in a wardrobe with space of 3.5 ft x 1.5 ft and 5.5 ft high,i have 6 plants under it and there all doing great, notice second pic, thats 10 days later just a day after transplanting
I would say you have enough light as well. Getting a 400 probably wont do you much better and it would end up costing a lot more in electricity after a while.
