Got a few sprouting, what now?

Well I'm new to smoking and to growing so I got a clean dime bag off my friend he just got the weed from his plant after he let it lay out and dry of course.. I removed the seeds from my bag of weed(some of the seeds were still in the bud)so they were fresh, I took them. Got a flower pot a big ass one the long ones that your suppose to hang of the side of your porch and shit filled it up with some dirt from my moms flower bed, and planted them into the pot about 5 inches down in the dirt....

I water them everyday with a half of a cup of water(those big ass hardee's cups), around 4:00 p.m. when i get off school, it took about a 4 days but those damn things are sprouting up everywhere!, I have 2 lamps(normal house ones :() focused on them maybe more then 8 hours a day.. I'm growing them in my closet and I've spotted some mold or whatever on the dirt... the plants are about 1 inch high they have maybe 2 small sets of leafs and im very proud at my first attempt of growing this weed... I don't expect great weed to come out of this but hey, ill still smoke it..

Im worried about If im doing the right thing... Over watering? Not enought/too much light?, the mold shit growing on the dirt, what do I do too keep these babys strong and alive...? oh yea the pot is about 6 inches of dirt i dont think thats good... I think there all gonna die and this is gonna be a waste of time but there growing please educate me thanks in advance.

Please read the FAQ's. And BTW, growing in your parents house is NOT a good idea, they'll find them before they get a foot tall.

Plz go research this on google this is the same bullshit that is posted here every day. 3 min of searching google and you will find big ass essays and even yes.. books on how to grow weed. thank you come again.

ok now enough of being an ass hole i will answer you questions.... because i feel bad about chewing you out.

first off "house" lights suck (Im gusseing there incandescents). second it seems it would be easyer for you if you grew them outside you wouldnt have to do much and you probally wouldnt get caught by your parents.. third if you are going to grow them inside you need better lights and also you need to keep them on for at least 18 hours a day. keeping them on for 8 hours a day would be retarded think about where you live is it only light for 8 hours a day? mmmhhh okkkk now thats some basics go look the rest up
