I guess an advanced stage of emoitis consists of cutting themselves which appears to be an increasing trend.

Emo must be a progression of goth. Goth music consists of bauhaus, the cure, siouxsie & the banshees--all music I like.

What are some emo bands? Radiohead? They seem pretty emotional.

The closest I ever got to dressing like a rebel was when break dancing came out (mid 80's) Parachute pants and Thriller jacket. You gotta love rebels/punks. They push the boundries of our freedom.:stoned:

Emo isn't music, its shitty high school poetry set to three power chords while being read by a dude who recently got his balls chopped off.

i hang with the Punk crowd, all the emos at my highschool used to be preps.

Radiohead are more Indie I'd say. Emo is a more punky orientated music bands like The Used, Taking Back Sunday or My Chemical Romance I'd say are emo. I quite like their muisc I just really don't like the I'm depressed because thats whats cool etc. attitude of alot of th people.

I am pretty mutch 90% all punk, and ill tell you, Punk and HardCore (emo music) are 2 completely different things.
