build a grow cab

this is a step by step how to build a grow cabinet with a veg a bloom and a bits section ..
first u need to decied how big you want it ..
in tis thread it's going to be 4' hight by 3' wide by 2' deep
fist things first get all the pieces of wood cut to size and under coated.for this one you will need .

all in 12mm mdf

2x 2'x4' sides
2x 2'x3' top and bottom
1x 2' by 24mm under 4' devider
1x 2'x1'. self
1x 1'x4' first door
1x 2'x4' second door
in hard borad
1x 1'x4' back piece
1x 2'x4' back piece
if you can find a piece big enough then it will be better than 2 pieces
4x 4" peices of 2x2 timber for the legs

ok once youve got all your pieces cut and under coated its time to start building ..
(make sure you build it were you are goint to grwo as if you make it to big to go up the stairs you will be taking it apart and building it again)
i recomend you pre drill your holes as you are so close to the edge of the wood ..
on this box iv used mdf coner brackets for extra support ..pic(1)
start by screwingall sides together ...

once all sides are to gether
place the deviding peice in plce and then and sure it is sqaure be for you place to backing on ...
you should have sumthig that looks like the one in the pic depending on size ...

now your next thing you need to do is fit the shelf remeber it's your choice on how high this goes iv got this one at 3' as it leaves me with 1sq foot for all the electrics and fans..
right once all thats done you can add the foot and iv added alittle morw support in the left hand corner

ok once youv got this fare you will need to add the doors it's pritty simple you can use a hole lot of diffrent hinges

once you have your doors mounted its time to seal them i used a window and door seal for thie little trick..pic (2)

ok once youv got it all to gether i suggest you figure out were everything is goint ie lights fans and electrics so yo can cut 4" holes for the fans and drill holes for the cables O and 2to 3" holes for venting .. once thats all done you can cover it paint it or just leave it as is ... iv covered this one with sticky backed plastic or fablon ...once you have don that dont forget to add furniture like handles and catches ...

1x strip bar for all plugs
2x timers
1x ocilating fan
thats about it if iv missed anything out its coz i was stoned when righting this :-)

In case you are curious. You can use pond liner cut into strips to cover the crack of the doors. Attach it to one side (I use staples) make a small tent over the crack and attach the other side to the open door. Now when you close the door the pond liner will cover the crack and not interfere with the door opening or closing.

You can use door skin to make a 6"- 8" overlap strip to cover where 2 doors come together.
