Iv'e been reading alot of post that say you need ph Meters, all this other crap for growing outside. My friend told me he just germinated the seed, put it in a cup, then transplanted it to his backyard, and it grow, but he killed it, because he didnt want to get caught. It was getting too big. Do I actually need a list of 15 things, all that crap, or is that just for more professional growing. Someone tell me the basic things I need to grow outside, and what steps I should take. Thanks

The only thing you need for outdoor growing is common sense. Cannabis's needs do not exceed the needs of other plants, you can grow it as if you were growing a tomato plant. Later, when you get experience you can buy some of these special "crap" (PH-, EC-meters, etc), but for the beggining, your own head will be just fine. Try this site:

If you don't use a ph meter your plant will probably die or get hella screwed up in flower do to nute lock up.
what is a pH meter? Is it something I need to put in.. Or is it like a gaige that measures something. Just tell me the basic things I need, the soil, etc. THanks
Rain flushes the soil quite often, so ph can be important, but not a major issue when growing outdoors. The ph neutral rainwater will remove excess salts and balance the soil ph. Pkash, the details of ph is something you don't need to bother with right now. Just germinate your seeds and plant them outside. You can mix some manure into the soil, that way you won't need to even fertilize. Good luck!
