Islamist Militants Modding video games

Islamist militants are modding battlefield 2 so that instead of gunning down the usual 'evil' middle easterners and crazy north koreans and chinese you get the privledge of killing yourself a nice fat American Pig. Does this offend you as it does some? From my own gamer perspective, I think its pretty damn cool. It gives variety to games. I've always wanted to play as an alternative to the boring old forces I've been playing as since... wolfenstein 3d in 1992.

Sure it may be propaganda to the countries youth, but is it really any different than the BS we're feeding our youth? By portraying middle easteners as enemies in video games it can really brain wash our impressionable youthful gamers into thinking ignorant thoughts!

And is it even propaganda?! It's just showing us as invaders to their homeland waging a crusade against Islam...

Those are my thoughts!

I think that's cool man, if they wanna kill us fat american pigs, then by all means, have at us.

I wish they posted a link to these militant websites so I could find the mod without searching the internet

i find that kind of amusing :p the US did the same thing with the game americaa army so u can only complain too much


it also shows how versatile thoes grps are... they US is a bit behind imo

I mean, in all fairness, all of these Islamic countries that we shoot at in every game is a kind of propoganda, too.

I don't really know what to say...especially since I'm in the middle of a game of Civilization 3 where I'm playing Hitler and taking over Europe with my mighty army of Panzer tanks.

Hey, why does everybody leave out the Canadians? Make a mod to blow some of our northern border buds up too :D

Plot: Canada invades and takes over America "Red Dawn"-style.

Player must shoot/kill royal mounties and locate wmd in winter forest setting.

haha I just finished a WW3 scenario in that game, took 2 weeks to finish
