Dexedrine is more potent than Adderall, containing exclusively the dextrorotatory isomer of amphetamine. Adderall is also amphetamine, but contains mixed amphetamine salts of which half is the less potent l-amphetamine.
Most people would probably require more than one capsule of either Dexedrine or Adderall (but especially Adderall) for desired recreational effects.

I never understood why people took Adderal; I was prescribed that in the past and it made me very focused but very depressed and unhappy. I took one of my old 30mg pills recently and it was very much like I was taking speed in that I was up all night working but still very depressed and feeling bad. I guess that is just me. I didnā??t nor do I have ADD but I went to my doctor about having trouble focusing on my work and he gave me Adderal. It helped, but I donā??t take any drugs habitually anymore (Tylenol, allergy medication, Adderal, caffeine etc). I just feel more healthy when Iā??m not on any medication.
