WASHINGTON â?? A Senate panel on Thursday advanced a proposed constitutional amendment to ban flag desecration, a measure with little chance of congressional passage but potential political impact in an election year.

Approved 6-3 by a Judiciary Committee panel on the Constitution, the amendment reads: â??The Congress shall have power to prohibit the physical desecration of the flag of the United States.â?�

glad to see they are thinking about the important things... I can't wait for novemeber... the ads are going to be great... someone should record them from around the us and find the worst ones... I bet it'd make a good 4-5 hour movie :)... it's gonna be good...
