Better Grow Hydro makes reviews of a couple of digital ballasts... very interesting read. I enjoyed it very much.
They measure "light output", watts (consumed), amps, efficiency, etc. head to head against various ballasts (1,000 coil, 1000 digital, 600 digital, etc.)
They also test for RF intereference.
