Why?

Ive had promethzine syrup twice (purple,yellow) and went to erowid to look for some info and found nothing WHY.

Because it's an antihistamine, not a recreational drug.

Go to "Ask Erowid" ....there is something about it there.

promethazine is generic for phenergan, an anti nausea medicine. it basically just makes you drowsy and relaxed. i had some pills once that were demerol/promethazine pretty good opiate effects. cant give any info on the dosage of pure phenergan syrup though.
