father just diagnosed with glucoma

yea kinda depressing time in my life, dad just was diagnosed wit glucoma i dont even kno wtf that shit is but the doctor said he mite go blind...i need to kno of any strain that works well with this disease..can any1 help?:confused:

:smokin: Im sorry to here that piff. i have heard that jamaican haze (probably any high quality sativa) helps, but have not found anything in writing that confirms this info other than the fact that sativas have a more of a mental high. im sorry i cant help further but i do have to say when i got my hands on haze(once) my eyes were solid red. i hope this is some help

i thought more indica strains work better for body pain?? such as hindu kush, northern lights, and blueberry

hey Piff i have glaucoma as well. all it is is the nerves in the patients eyes are enlarged which in turn causes pressure, to much pressure and one can go blind. i have found that a potent sativa is best for me. i particularly like ICE, Kali Mist, or NL5 x haze. these are all sativa dominant plants and are a total head buzz. i have found that upon inhalation of a nice bowl of either of these strains, the first thing i feel is a rush of warmth and relaxation across my face. its either that im so stoned or that i can actually almost fee the prssure relieved in my eyes, might just be in my head tho. at any rate if he is not open to the marijuana idea i was prescribed an eye drop called epifrin SP? which really helps me out if i cant burn a fat one. good luck to you and your father.

thanks money but yea he wants to smoke pot bc he knows the good effects and he knows it can help him...just wanna find some beans that arent like 100 bucks for like 10 so i can try to get a grow setup so he doesnt have to spend an outrageous amount of money for his meds
