There has only ever been one recorded verdict of fatal overdose due to cannabis. In January 2004, Lee Maisey of Pembrokeshire, Wales was found dead. The coroner's report stated "Death due to probable cannabis toxicity". It had been reported that Maisey smoked about six joints a day.

WTF?????? I know people who have smoked 10 joints a day for 10 years, and they are healthier than i am.

yeah... it does seem a bit suspicious...

well a probably THC toxicity is not even possible from 6 joints. I will bet ANYTHING she had some other illness that may have been affected by smoking so much.

What if he (/she) had Asthma, s/he could have taken a hit, had an asthma attack and died of asphyxiation.

DAMN! I saw this a cuple days ago and was gunner post it... well at least one of us did lol!

I think its bullshit, and the coroner has NO idea what hes on about. I smoke a 1/4 a day, i havnt been sober for 3 years straight, and im fit as a fiddle!

That isn't saying much if you're a regular smoker lol.

well he was a regular smoker for 7 years longer than me. I think it's a myth that regular smokers have worse health. Maybe in the lung department but overall I'd be willing to bet that a non-smoker gets sick just as much as a smoker. Excluding lung illness'.

Um people that smoke for 30 years are a hell of a lot worse off than the average joe. You act as if the "lung department" isn't very serious. I mean they are only responsible for your breathing;)
