Autopots
Gonna change to Autopots on the next crop. Has anyone used them and what is your experience. I grow in soil and I cannot spend as much time nurturing as I could previously so I am gonna take this option. Not into Hydroponic tables, ph and all that stuff too messy for me.
Maybe you could also give me some suggestions for favourite medium to use with the soil suitable for this scenario?

Wow, those look sexy.
Considering getting something like that myself, the only problem is I like to supercrop and tape a bunch of string to my pots.
I could work around it, but do I really want to?
If you get it, tell us how it works! <3

I was hoping for a medium suggestion for the autopot system, I have some ideas but was hoping for some green thumbs to step up!

I am not on a budget that is why I want some yummy suggestions. I am happy to spend to recieve. Ease of use, limited drastic changes and the ability to have a life outside my hobby draw me to these whilst maintaining my need to use soil for taste amd problem limitation.

Well, I have looked at the auto pots very closely.. they have ,made some great modifications in the past year or so... that allow proper watering as opposed to the old autopots that always kept the medium moist..
I really like them.. they are expensive.. but if money is not an object would say yes...!!!!!
: )
if you get 6 of them and connect them together and get a good LARGE reservoir.. you can really make a nice simple set up that will yield big!!!

I appreciate your thoughts on the auto's.
Did you have a cheaper alternative in mind out of curiousity? Do you think 6plants, autopots and 1000Watt HPS are going to yield equivalent to SOG method, 20 plants and a whole lot more fuss?

Autopots
it will always be hard to top SOG...
BUT..... you will beable to grow some impressive plants with a 1000watt HPS and only 6 plants... with 6 HUGE colas!!
Soil is always pretty easy and cheap.. You could always go with 9 - 5 gallon buckets of soil... and grow them to 24 inches tall before you flower...
mama mia....
