BERLIN (Reuters) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is a psychopath and anti-Semite whose declarations resemble those of Adolf Hitler, Israeli acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said in a newspaper interview on Saturday.
"Ahmadinejad speaks today like Hitler before taking power," Olmert told Germany's Bild newspaper. "He speaks of the complete destruction and annihilation of the Jewish people."
Ahmadinejad has questioned the Holocaust and called for Israel to be "wiped off the map". He has also suggested the Jewish state should be moved to Europe or North America.
"So you see, we are dealing with a psychopath of the worst kind, with an anti-Semite," Olmert said. "God forbid that this man ever gets his hands on nuclear weapons, to carry out his threats."

Iran denounces Israel election to UN panel
UNITED NATIONS - Iran's U.N. ambassador on Thursday denounced Israel's election as a vice-chair of the U.N. Disarmament Commission, calling the Jewish state a threat to peace in the Middle East.
Ambassador Javad Zarif accused Israel of "violating every single Security Council resolution that has been adopted about the Middle East."
He also lashed out at Israeli criticism of Iran's own election as a vice-chair of the commission, noting the Jewish state has refused to sign the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty but "has the audacity to talk about another country having a seat."

I can see it now....with the veto powers of Russia and China the U.N. will be useless once again. Israel will take care of buisiness and lets just hope they don't dig into their nukes!

If some of the people, even knew how much of a threat this guys is, they would spend less time hating Bush and more time at least knowing the real enemy.

Russia is selling them the nuclear technology and is also selling them air defense systems. China is in big with oil contracts so you can imagine where they stand. Both these countries are doing buisiness with Iran and could really give a rats ass about the western nations.

Doesn't really matter if ahmawhatever is a psychopath or not, iran is actually ran by the ayatollahs. Or that's what they were saying a week ago. Funny how they can't keep the talking points consistant. But then $10 gas would be great both for oil companies and iran, I expect no shortage of war talk.

OK, why would Russia sell them the tech if they thought they or the U.S.A. would get stupid with opposition? China is like a kid in a candy store now; lots of people making money... Henry Fords without the nationalism. :dance:
As for Israel, who do they have in their corner but the the U.S. and Great Britain? ... the ones that set them up in '47 because...? Sorry, but it might have helped to check in (get a read) with Arab concerns after WWII. Point is, U.S. and Great Britain are irrelevant now and Iran knows it. They may be fanatical but they're not stupid.

France and Germany has also shown great concern about this.....also, if you really look at the Sunni/Shi-ite factor. Most every Arab country west of Iran is Sunni dominant...they don't really care to have a Shi-ite nuclear power in the region; that's if the truth were known.
After all, they all supported Saddam during the Iraq/Iran war. The Arab League will bitch for the camera and smile behind closed doors.
