I'm hoping someone could step forward and tell me what differences it would make in my pals growroom. He is not computer savvy and asked me to find out. Room is 20x8 with a 7 ft ceiling. It has 4 1000W for flowering. From what I have heard, It doesn't increase yield, it just grows them to maturity quicker. Is that correct? Would the room have to be airtight? Any info will be appreciated.

How would he plan on dispersing the c02?
Does he run 24/0 or 18/6 Veg? (yes, it does matter when c02 is concerned)
As far as your yield and maturity question, maturity time is based on the genetics of the strain and the environment in general. That basically means if the c02 has a positive effect whatsoever, it will increase the yield even if it's the smallest amount.
(at least this is what this noob has learned, I could be wrong!)

Enhanced CO² along with proper temperature control and proper levels of CO² your yield will increase by 20-30% and the finish time will be reduced by 2 weeks minimum
Well, there is a division between the veg and the flower, but I believe it was just designed to keep the light out not the air. The veg is 18/6 and the flowering is 12/12. The room is not airtight, it has outside air coming in, very necessary to avoid air conditioning in the summer.... what kind of CO2 dispersing methods are best?Quote:

co2 makes a huge difference when used properly.
I've came to the conclusion CO2 supplemntation grows plants 30% bigger and 30% faster. Don't use CO2 the last two weeks of flowering, it will prevent the plants from finishing.
Your dude should definetly get a tank and regulator or a CO2 generator, they have CO2 generators that run off natural gas or propane. The ones that run off natural gas are exellent because you can hook the up to the gas line in your house, so there is no worry about refilling tanks and what not.
