Oh no!Have I made a mistake???

Facts and then a questions....

1)on day 37 from seeds and outdoor grown.
2)approx 5-7hrs sun per day/fed 2x per week.
4)I've only trimmed the first fan leaves & the plants are about a foot tall.
5)One plant is skinny,has very few leaves and is showing it's first sign of flowering at the top. There appears to be lots of small green sacks surrounding the center of the stem at two different locations with NO white hairs in sight.(and no odor)
6)The other is significantly bushier and also showing signs of flowering but with some white stringy hairs twisting all around the stem at different areas. NO bulbous sacks anywhere and it has very strong odor.

Question....

From reading all these posts it was obvious to me that one was a male, so I went ahead and killed it to not hurt the female. Were my assumptions correct or could the one I just killed have been a female as well?

nope, ya done good...sounds like you had a boy there.
