Just transplanted a plant.
I threw alot of seeds out my window, and to my surprise one started growing greatly. I let it grow for about 3 weeks, and it's got 7 leaves, about 6 inches tall. I dug up the dirt around it, put it in the pot and didn't let the roots touch air. We took it near a creek, with many ferns, so that we know that the soil is rich. It's growing greatly. I'm just wondering, how can I keep the insects off of the plant? Any ideas? Thanks.

To keep slugs and snails off your plants you can fill some peanut butter lids (low saucers) with beer. The slugs and snails will go to the beer and kill themselves. You may also want tto consider putting up some chicken wire around your plant so that animals don't eat it..
congrats on the healthy plant.. I hope it turns out to be female!!!
