If you're looking where to plug it in just look for a plug hole in that shape

no its not old, it goes to a 8 inch lcd screen, it's one of the connectors they make so it can plug into like a million different adapters. i need to know what its called so i can get a "____ to RCA" adapter the ____ being this plugs name lol

it looks like it might be an s-video connector, but you could take the pic into radio shack or something and find a matching cable

My first guess was similar to Del's ... thought it was some sort of audio connector ... but from what you described, a quick search on google yields the most likely answer ...
