Help me pls.

Hey i have a question i recently got some bud form a friend that smells like it has a pee/amonia smell its not enough to take your breath away or its not super super strong but its noticeable. The green wsa given to him by somone who was supposedly about to get busted and gave him 2.5 oz's of it afew of my friends have smoked it and are still alive ;-P i am wondering what the smell could be if this is something that is common but i have smoked for over 2 years and never got any green that smells like amonia dunno if i should smoke it or not i have a 1/2 oz of it and dont want to throw it away any help is appreciated ;-)

idk but i have heard off catpiss weed its suposelly smells like piss

yes this is exactly the smell i get from it i have a feeling it might be homegrown not sure if somehting in curing can make smell like piss or what

i smoked a type of bud that had a strong ammonia like smell to it. the guy said it was "day-glow" (prolly some bullshit) but it was almost a neon green color. good weed though.

i dunno what the smell could come from though.

The more skunky strains smell of catpiss, and normally they are some NICE gear...
