Probation in California: OK to smoke Medical MJ?

Theres a good chance that i'll be put on probation for my recent drug sales arrest. Im going to admit to the marijuana, and deny the scales. I am about to get my medical marijuana card by the way. If I show this to the judge, P.O., whatever, its cool if i smoke weed while getting drug tested right? I know a couple people who have done this in the past but they had cool P.O.'s. My thinking is.....if you were prescribed painkillers for a back injury, a P.O. would probobly write it off the drug test. In Cali, medical weed is legal and tolerated. I want to get a card so I can have 1. An excuse for possessing weed in the first arrest. and 2. If I get probation, I want to be able to smoke weed legally without quitting every 2 weeks and getting the whizzinator/detox drinks. So i'm sure someone knows about this...please reply.

I think youll be fine if you have the medical card! but i hope you have a lawyer beause if your just going in and pleading not guilty, still probably end up being found guilty if you dont have a lawyer! if you havent already talked to a lawyer i would suggest a consultation!:) there free most of the time and can help alot! good luck, keep us posted! Long story, got cought up boxing my car andn I had almost an ounce of pot, a scale and a notebook full of numbers, numbers, etc. The scale wasn't even mine I was borrowing it, so it's not really mine. Im going to plead guilty to posession but I would like to get my med. marijuana card just in case I get on probation, then at least I can smoke without trying to hide it.
I just hope that it's not too much to ask my judge or P.O., oh by the way my first court date is in about 5 weeks. So I have some time to think about my plea and all that shit. Any more adive would be great man.. Im getting a public defender by the way, not enough $$$ for a laywer.

that sucks! well first of all you'd definitely be better off getting a license if you still want to smoke. documents always help when you're dealing with asshole attorneys that most likely don't have your best interest in mind, especially when they're not getting paid. this might help you out in court....

- get your medical marijuana license

- if you can get a letter from a doctor stating that you have been suffering from extreme pain since... (from before the date of the arrest), & that he supports the fact that you smoke marijuana instead of taking prescription pain killers or sleeping pills for whatever ailment........ migraines/muscle spasms/insomnia

i might know of a couple doctors depending on where in caifornia u live.

the scale might be a bit of a problem. if you can, produce a good friend or family member (with NO prior criminal records) of accidentaly leaving it or dropping it in your car. DO NOT MENTION BORROWING IT

I see problems with this plan northern light. First off, you are trying to get a medical card so that your previous charge will possibly face less harsh consequences than if you didn't have it? The way the law I think will see this is that they won't. If you get your card AFTER you have committed a crime then I think it is useless. As far as smoking while you are on probation, I wouldn't even count on a medical card being all you need to be able to smoke. Depending on the doc you go to, they might do criminal background checks too. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Well if you're on probation for a weed related offense it probably won't fly. But you only have to worry about getting tested if you get put on formal probation.

There a few things that get you screwed are
scale ,,,, wonder what the reason was/is
guns ,,,,, never even think about one
I was caught with 97 plants 3 less than federal lever
5 bags with almost 100 grams in each ALMOST
My medical problems got me out of growing for sale, I recieved PC 2000 drug abuse program .
It was funny that I had lots of morfine and hydrocone in my system but that was ok NO POt.
You better have a good medical excuse , But with less than one oz you may walk with just pc 2000 drug abuse
Never go to court with out a attorney, a fool is your attorney whan you reposent your self.
