Why so shady? (Dealers)

Well I've been dry for over a week now and I tried gettin' some last week, but the guy didn't pull through. I talked to him 2 days and it did no good. Its my friends guy and I've never used him before, but yesterday he was talking to my friend and I talked to him and he was going to get it tomorrow (now today) and he'd give it to me after school. He didn't call me til after 6 though, and when I was done eatin' then I talked to my friend and he said that he had the stuff and I called the guy and we arranged to meet at this place. So I head out and soon I'm at the spot, he's already there ofcourse. He gets in my truck and we start talkin' and apparently he doesn't have it, he's waiting for a call to go get it. So I gave him my money (100) and he said he'd call me.

Well no call yet and its been 2+ hours which seems like more than enough time to get a deal done if you ask me.

Why do people have to be so shady and unreliable like this? I mean, it seems like it should be simple enough. I have money, I wan't weed, get weed and I'll give you the money to exchange for it. Whats so hard about that?

I'm not too worried about losing my money though, cause my friend is supposed to know him pretty good and he said he'll make sure we get it by this weekend for sure.

One thing I've learned is never pay unless you see the shit first, no matter who it is.

I dont know..its shady as fuck around where you are..and why the hell would you meet somebody and give him 100 bucks when he aint got no weed? Never pay till you get the goods

I learned that shit before I even started buying from people lol, no one can be trusted if you ask me...of course I can be trusted, I'm a loyal guy which is why I get extra pissed when some one is disloyal to me but yet I go out and break my back for some one I barely know :mad:. Am I too nice? Lol

agreed...don't pay unless he's got something to give you...dealing is a business...if you don't have the liquidity to pay upfront and get from your customers later, he's probably not that good.

Like I said, my friend knows him and I'm sure I will get the weed. I've been dry for a week and 2 days, with 420 coming up I'm gettin' worried about not having any bud, so you could say I'm desperate. And I've seen this kid around school before and shit, I'm sure I'll get it.

I just hate having to go through this bullshit to get a damn sack.

Edit: Wow, you guys really don't think I'm getting it huh? I'm almost positive I will, just have to go through some bullshit first. I'll post back as soon as I get it. Its not like this is the first time I paid in advance.

I don't really like the current dealer situation I have cus I always have to pay first. It's not like this guy buys bud himself, I just give him money to go to his dealer and get it back to me. He never has any money so I HAVE to give it to him first.

Most the time he comes through, but there was one time I lost $30 worth (a half of mids) cus his dealer lost the weed getting pulled over. That kinda sucked, of course no refund. You win some you lose some

the same thing happened to me today. the thing is i worked withthe guy, and ive delt with him alot before. I lost 40 bucks today. im soo pissed. i usualy don't buy a lot of weed, only a dime bag or so... so this was a big drop... but man... fucking asshole... and now when i call his cell some random guy says he took him phone cause he ows im 250 bucks... me and this guy whos name is "jewels" will me up tomarrow, and maybe get this fucker to get us our money. uhhh i don't know what should I do??!!!

Big no no giving the dealer the money first.I dont care how good your friend knows this guy .Golden rule never give up any money before you see the stash.
