Iowa City Got Fucked Up

shit was crazy the other nite fuckin 5 tornados in johnson county all at once one of them ripped rite trhu downtown iowa city destroyed alot of shit. iowa city will never be the same. i saw the tornado goin thru downtown it was nuts. everybody was out drinkin when it hit after it hit everybody was just out in the streets aimlessly wandering around trying to make sense of it all. people started tailgatin on the streets like it was football saturday. just madness things are starting to get cleaned up hopefully they can rebuild most of the damage. i never woulda thought iowa cioty would get hit by a tornado boy as i wrong.

I saw some pictures a friend from UofI took, it was really put into perspective when I saw one where htey were crawling underneath a street sign, or St. Pats church.

yea i drove by all of it rite after it hit it was amazing all the stuff in the streets. ther were overturned cars in the middle of the street a big ass metal storage container was in the middle of the clinton and jefferson i saw a big ass tree that was uprooted and was hanging over the street on electrical wires and people were driving under it.

I was about a block from a lot of the damage. The only word to describe that night was surreal.
