what should i do
I'm not goign to be around for a few days so should i let my light stay on for a longer amount of time and then shut it off for the day and a half that i'm not goign to be here or shoudl i shut it off now and leave it on for the amount of time i'm gone?
also i heard that adding seltzer to the soil helps with the CO2 problem is this true?

There are small C02 tablets you can drop in water when feeding, they are cheap and apparently very effective.

Sweetie, you need a 5 dollar timer like smokesalot suggested. If you plan on doing this for a while - You will probablyhaveto get one sooner or later. Also, check to see if the timer can handle the wattage load - too much power can start a fire!
One tip: Make sure you check to see if they go off and on at the right time. You want to keep it on a regular schedule otherwise you get some hermies!
