I want someone who has a -real- knowledge of cannabis to offer their opinion on this pic. LIP claims it to be a plant that he grew, I say he's full of crap. This is not in ANY way cannabis, and if it is, it has been frozen with water on it to form those crystals, or augmented artificially some other way, because THC trichs DON'T GROW LIKE THIS!!! Seriously, am I the only one on this site that doesn't buy it?
Swear I have seen that on Erowid or a link from there years ago, tbh.
That looks chemied up to the max, ive seen and heard ov people doing weird and crazy shit to their buds but that is pretty crazy. Theres no way thats a normal strain.
looks a bit odd when trichomes are mushroom shaped can even kinda tell naked eye that thier roundish those sir are square/pointy more like ice crystals and not trichomes but who the hell knows...and i dont see no pistilate hairs.....no calyx's......dont look right

Could be cannabis, but those crystals look ridiculous.
It's become apparent that SOME people haven't seen frosty ass weed like K2, Ice, or even a pure Sativa like Destroyer. Their genetics allow for some rather frosty looking buds -- almost appeared to have been dipped in sugar.
Another thing that could have been done is UV-B radiation treatments to the buds during flowering, early and late. Supposedly it causes a greater percentage of trichomes to develop along with a stretch in the stalked trichomes.
Im absolutly positive thats his plant, if i remember correctly its the strain
k2. I dont think he would just freeze water on his plant to make it look like a disco ball, Especially under 2,000 watts of hps.
Kush Over: I -have- seen as frosty of buds as you can find anywhere, trust me. I am well aware what they look like up close and at a distance. no matter how "frosty" a plant gets, the trichs do not change their shape, they do not go from being rounded little mushroom shaped "crystals" to being flat, wide, angled crystals. If you think that k2 or any other white strain is capable of producing trichs that look like those in the picture, I would venture to guess that it is YOU who have never seen them.
And honestly, who says the crystals formed under this 2000 HPS light I keep hearing about? If he faked the crystals, obviously he didn't do it under the light.....I still think he just found the pic on the web anyways, 2000 watt HPS or not.
And I have cause to wonder how exactly you can be absolutely certain that it -is- his plant...do you know him? Have you seen it? If your knowledge stems from a post you saw in which he claimed it was his, I wouldn't lend it all that much credibility...
