Need help, question on watering!!
:D   First of all thanks to those who have helped me. I don't have pics, but my plants are doing so well..... Now the question, my plants are 5 weeks and I have them in 6" pots. They don't seem to need to be watered very often at all. I watered them Monday and it's now Friday. When I poke my finger into the soil, it's still moist about 1/2 inch down. Should I continue to wait to water them? I don't want to overwater. And if I'm not watering them every other day are they missing out on fert? Please help! :stoned:

Water them once a week with mild fertilizer. If the soil is moist then don't water alot.

what i do is get a good feel of the weight when the pot is filled with dry soil, compare it to when its wet soil and go by there.

Look man, when you water...
Ughghh... I'm sorry, but I must have typed this like 434234342345830945 times... search for Garden Known's posts... use terms like "watering" and the like.
When you water, you need to WATER THE SHIT out of the pots... DON'T BE A WIMP! Don't water here, and there... Oh so cute! What do you think Martha Stewart?
DUDE! Soak the SHIT OUT OF THOSE POTS... SOAK THEM!
Then don't re-water until they're dry.
Simple.

I water when the containers are lightweight and soil deep down is close to bone dry. Watch and wait as the containers filled to the brim with water settles out. If you're watering more than one plant, the drainage speed will show you which ones have better drainage, which may hint at improving soil mixes in the future or lining the bottom for drainage. Quick drainage means they were thirsty and that oxygen is getting to the roots.
Personally, I wouldn't even look at a calendar for watering and instead let the plants tell you when they're thirsty. I've gone as long as 5 days and as quickly as two days between waterings.

Alot of this depends on the temp in your growroom. Sounds like it must be pretty cold in there if the plants are living of the same water for so long.
Are they growing alot during this time ? Or is the growth slower then ussual?

I have perlite mixed with my soil, in 10" pots, and I've found that I have to water about every two days. There is a drainage hole at the bottom of the pot that I stick my finger up into, to find out if they are dry or not. 2 days seems to be the norm for me.
