Ok so the first book I ever read was Cannabis Grow Bible by i forget who which HIGHLY recommended HPS over halide saying halide were becoming outdated, but now i am reading Indoor Marijuana Horticulture, the Indoor Bible by Jorge Cervantes, and he's saying that Metal Halide produce 20% more Par Watts, which ius a measurement of the light energy plants use, then HPS, even though HPS puts out more lumens
is htis true?? who do i believe?? :confused::confused::confused:

Well, It's more to do with spectrums, MH is blue, and HPS is more red/ornage... which is the spectrum to flower with...
You'll get an ok yeild with MH but HPS is better... Get a HPs
that really has almost nothing to do with what i was asking. Did u read my post or just the topic name?
i was looking for input more on the Par Watts part of my post, if thats legitimate, etc.
sorry if that sounded ungrateful but i guess the cut and paste FAQ answer kinda bugged me :o
