Just a quick question. I'm looking to grow 2 plants under a 250w HPS light using flood and drain. I am debatinging whether or not to set up a automatic pump system or just flood and drain manually.
How many times a day do you have to flood and drain for just two plant? Is it easier and best to set up a pump?

It would be easier to set up a pump, because you may not be there everytime you need to flood...
for two plants i would use coco boss cubes.
I wouldnt even wast money buying a pump I would use bubbles from a air pump , no pump ,no timmer, just rubber maid tote , air pump, air rock,2 net pots, and somthing like above to put in the pots. throw the air rock in your soloution in the tote, put the lid on with the holes cut out for 2 net pots to sit in fill with some sorta grow medium and ....grow away
