Need help on legal highs - putting together a Hunter S. Thompson-style drug suitcase

Me and my friend Erik are putting together a drug suitcase like the one in Fear and Loathing, bu we con't have the (by our guess) $20,000 to buy the real shit, so we're going to spend $200 instead.
We are getting:

1 oz of BC Dro (from iamshaman)
3 doses of Druid's Fantasy
3 doses of Space Cadets
1 matured cactus (L. Diffusa, the legal version)(from amazingnature.com)
3g of 5x Salvia Divinorum extract
10g Kanna Extract powder
1g of pure adrenochrome semicarbozone (yes, it does exist, and it is legal!)
70g Amnita Muscaria "Fly Agaric" Mushrooms (Grade A+ Latvian)

We have it picked out, I just want to make sure with a reliable community that everything we're buying will actually make us trip in some way, and that something like the BC Dro or the Space Cadets is just going to give us a headache. Any further info on ANY of these products (especially trip reports) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Wow, it's like i have a twin. I work out of town in the summer and i'm doing the exact same thing... i've already got the briefcase, i just have to fill it up! Have you just seen the movie, or do you read any of Hunter S.'s books? I've read Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas many times and am currently reading The Great Shark Hunt. As much as i love that idea, i'll give you as much help as possible on your journey of legal highs... something i've been researching for a long time. I'm not an expert and i'm sure theres people on these boards that can give you a lot more detail then me, but i think i can get you started.

First off, if you don't already do it, start using Erowid.org as much as possible. You can get trip reports, information, dose levels, etc. on thousands of chemicals/herbs/plants. As far as the BC Dro goes from iamshaman, scratch that off the list for sure. That's not even a iamshaman product, they just stock it cause once in awhile ppl will waste their money on it. Those legal buds might smell good and taste like fruit but they won't change your mental or physical state at all, unless you get a headache. I've never heard of "Druid Fantasy" or "Space Cadet" but they sound like the legal highs hoax too. Where did you find those? If you are going to mess around with cacti, look into Peruvian Torch or San Pedro instead. They can be a lot of work to prepare but it's going to be way more worth it then the one you mentioned. You have quite a bit of Fly Agaric picked out... you might want to reconsider that. It's going to take up a lot of your 200 dollar budget and those things can be pretty sketchy, make sure you know what you're doing if you are going to pursue those.

Salvia Divinorum is a great choice but i'd vary up your amounts. Have you used it before? You might not know your dose level and for 99% of ppl, 5x extract isn't enough to actually "trip", if that's what you're going for. I would recommend getting 1g 5x, 1g 10x, 1g 15x, and 1g 20x. A gram of extract will give you a couple doses, especially in the higher ammounts. Salviaworld.com has some awesome packages, try checking that out cause it will save you some money getting a package deal instead of individual grams. I don't know what pure adrenochrome semicarbozone is so i'll look it up someday, that's your decision cause i have no experience or knowledge with it. I've used Kanna once unsuccessfully, which doesn't mean its bad by any means, but if you're looking for a suitcase to trip with, kanna definetely isn't going to do it. Besides relaxing you and taking the edge off, you're not going to get that much else out of it.

I too am on a budget close too about 200 dollars, so i know what you're working with. Here's some products i'd look into before you spend anything.

- Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds
- Salvia Divinorum (stronger doses)
- Morning Glories
- San Pedro/Peruvian Torch cacti
- Kava Kava
- Ayahuasca (sp?)
- Syrian Rue

Definetely read into these if you don't already know about them, they're going to take you a lot farther then the other stuff you have on your list. HBW seeds are like Morning Glories, they both contain LSA (similar to LSD but not the same). The good thing with HBW seeds is that you only need a couple of them to feel effects compared to morning glories where you need a couple hundred. You can make extractions with the cacti i mentioned and that will send you for a trip, as well as Ayahuasca. Don't start poppin shit without reading up on it though, it's not stuff to underestimate just because it's legal. Kava Kava is a root brew that can affect you depending on how much you drink. A small amount will make you feel slight numbing sensations while higher doses can make you drunkish and your body numb. I'm not sure if you've ever watched Survivor, but on one of the episodes this guy drank a ton of kava brew with a native tribe and got messed up.

I'm not sure if you're into smoking blends, they don't really mess you up but there are effects. I don't like the commercial stuff they sell because i find making your own is much stronger, i've never felt effects off of natural stuff. Here's some pretty common, cheap plants that you can use for subtle effects and smoking.

- Damiana
- Desert Scullcap
- Passion Flower
- California Poppy
- Wild Dagga
- Blue Lily/Lotus

Druids Fantasy and Space Cadets are very popular pills. while noot listed directly on erowid, they contain both pure woodrose seed and pure morning glory extract, and have a high level of lsa. i've read many trip reports on them which have very positive things in them, so that's why i picked them. just google them and poke around, they seem really legit. instead of swallowing the 100+ morning glory seeds you take about 4 of these pills and get a reliable trip, apperantly very acid-like. with the kanna, i heard snorting it works really well - and you have to have something to snort!

I have never tried salvia before, but it sounds intense. The Peruvian Torch and the San Pedro - are they legal in the US? If so, how do I prepare them and what are the trips like? Do they contain mescaline? Same for the Fly Agaric shrooms - anything like normal shrooms, or are they different? And I mistyped - I meant 30 grams, not 70.

I have been using erowid alot - it's great. The adrenochrome is the stuff that Dr. Gonzo has in his shaving kit, the little brown bottle. I found an obscure pharmecutical souce, and it's dirt cheap, and the site (where I'm getting it from) says that it's a hallucinogen... i didn't really plan to use it, you know, just for sentimental value. ;-)

As for ayahusca, I have no_idea where you can get it. I found two places that sold extract in pill form, but they were discontinued early in my search for my case. I assumed they'd been outlawed.... do you have any sources? Also, what drug is that similar to? And the syrian rue... what's that?

Sorry to offer so many questions, but I'm still reasearching. I have a tendancy to look around for what seem like the best options based on marketing ploys, and then become fixated on those because they look ubercool. I didn't look around much, and I read a review somewhere that BC Dro was just like weed, so I went with an ounce. But you have coreccted me - thanks!

Man i'm so happy someone has the same ideas as me... i'm so psyched about this suitcase idea. Alright to start off with, San Pedro and Peruvian Torch are very common cacti in America and are completely legal to posses and grow. BUT... when you extract them for the mescaline it is illegal to consume. Also, LSA is legal to posses and it's ok to grow morning glories and HBW plants, but it is illegal to consume. Unless you're getting tested in a few days don't worry about it though because they don't stay in your system very long, and a common drug test doesn't test for those substances. Preparing the cacti isn't that much work, but it is time consuming. From everyone i've talked too it is more then worth the work, erowid has tons of preperation methods you can follow.

I've never used Fly Agaric shrooms (frankly i never will, i don't trust them), and i really don't know too much to suggest how to use them, etc. From what i have read they don't give you as much as a visual trip as normal shrooms but they work alright... cept severe nausea is a problem. Also theres tons of Amanita's and most are extremely poisonous so you better know whats going on before you start eating shit.

I understand your point with the kanna, and i think it's a great plant to use but you're not going to trip off of it in any way... it will just relax you and stuff. On second thought you probably shouldnt waste the money with Ayahuasca because it's extremely dangerous if you don't know how to handle it, and most ppl find it too scary to even try twice. It's also called "the vine of the dead"... the name kinda says it all. Feel free to research it, it's a brew that amazonia shamans have used for a long time, but it's not something to play around with.

Wild Dagga is a great plant in my opinion. Make sure you get JUST the flowers... almost all sites sell the foilage which is worthless. The flowers are the only thing that will give you effects, which aren't very strong but they're enjoyable. We used to always smoke wild dagga during golf team, it just makes you generally happier and makes me grin like no other. The best way to use dagga though is too mix it with your weed because it can save your stash. The dagga and weed work good together, so i can get the same effects of a bowl of straight ganj by using 3/5 ganj, 2/5 dagga or a mix like that. An oz. of just flowers will set you back like 30 bucks though, and according to reports it's as addicting as tobacco. I never felt an addiction in all the times i've used it but to each their own.

Syrian Rue is seeds you ingest... they can be pretty powerful though, definetely read into it first. I still suggest you mix up the salvia dose, because 3g of 5x will most likely do nothing. It's a good dose to start with and experiment on, but if you want a full blown trip you'll need stronger doses. Also, salvia is a pretty harsh smoke and you have to hold it in for 30+ seconds... so the stronger it is the less you need to hit it, which is a big plus in my opinion. Oh yea, with the cactus you're probably better off getting a live cactus then preparing it, but i'll look into it. You can also make gel caps out of Peruvian Torch "incense" and that can get you going pretty hard. My list is looking something like this...

- Salvia: 1 oz. premium leaves, 1 gram of 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x
- San Pedro + Peruvian Torch cacti (Can't really go in the briefcase but i'm getting em anyhow!)
- Hawaiian Baby Woodrose Seeds: 100 seeds
- Morning Glory Seeds: Flying Saucer, Pearly Gates, Heavenly Blue
- Wild Dagga: 1 oz. flowering tops
- Damiana, Scullcap, Blue Lotus, Wild Lettuce, Leonotis Sibricus, for my homemade smoking blend
- Kava Kava: 8 oz. root
- Wild Lettuce (stuff sucks alone but you can make a good extract out of it)

P.S. - The word on the street is Iamshaman.com rocks for almost everything, but don't get Hawaiian Baby woodrose seeds from them, they're not effective!

Sounds like it would be a hoot. LOL. But ya sounds pretty sweet, Im wanting to do that know, but with real drugs. Get like some coke, amps, pot, LSD, mushies, E, maybe some opium for tokin, ya just go all out and spend like a week or month doing a shit load of drugs.

If you're looking for legal highs on a budget the obvious choice would be DXM. Also poppy pods, while not a psychedelic, have a very real affect. The two together are a nice high. Good for kicking back on a Sunday afternoon, putting the CD changer on shuffle play...

yeah becarefull with those as well. the only pizza tops i trus are cubenesis, too many other have a high rate of alergies. everything else (im not into the cap, unless you arent going to ingest them?) looks cool, some i havnt done....yet!:smokin:
