lighting question

probably not a question you guys get very often i wouldn't think... whatever im stoned as fuck.

here's the setup, i have 8 plants growing and the plants are getting tall enough to where light isn't getting to all the branches. so i had the idea to cheaply light up the bottom leaves using flouros. so here's where i came up with the question:

if i put the flouros on the ground and point them up would the light damage the plants because it hits the bottom of the leaves?

I wouldnt be able to say for sure if it would damage it, but I highly doubt it. Cause the light penetrates most of the leaf anyways, so my guess is as long as it is getting good light that isnt burning it then it wont know the difference.
