hey BUDZ, I know alaska allows personal pot lawfully, but where else?

Can anybody else name a few cities or regions in the U.S. where the laws are near or totally legal besides denver or for medical purposes?

Masachusettes (SP?) has it decriminalized I hear. The city of Denver has made posession of an ounce or less 100% legal, but they can still charge you under state law. If you go to B.C. (Canada), especially Vancouver, most cops won't care if they just see you smoking a joint. Otherwise head to Holland where it's legal, or Italy and Spain where it's legal as long as you keep it in your house.

Also on the medical MJ note, it's still not legal no matter what illness you have unless you actually register.

massachussetts is a $500 fine and six months probation for first possesstion offense. That is nicer than most states but meaner than new york or ohio:pimp:

lol in England we'd probably just get a caution, which doesnt even mean having a criminal record. Woah, were lucky

here in vancouver pot laws are very nice under 28 grams u get a 200$ fine and if ur over 18 ur legally allowed to walk around with a gram and another bonus is that we get good bud and cheap bud

plus city's can change to effect police have on drugs by placing it on the bottom of the things to look out for, right now it's a main priority in most cities... So, you can even change your cities "law" if you wanted to. but like everyone says, it's illegal EVERYWHERE until the federal law changes. ... look at www.reneeboje.com, California has great medical laws for cannabis, but the DEA can arrest anyone for marijuana if they want to.

I know moving to a place where it is legal is not why you posted, but with just a little work I think we all can chage were we live... just think too, if everywhere one of us lived marijuana wasn't thought of as a horrid thing it would be so much more accepted in the US. I'm trying to change the views of it here. I know I've made a few people think differently about the drug, and that's all it really takes. Cause they are gonna tell people and so on and so on... Yep, move to Blighty. Its more or less decriminalised over here, as long as you dont walk down the street with a big-ass bong youll be fine. Ive walked past cops smoking a joint before, and they havent done anything. Ive sat in a park (back when it was a class B/schedule II) opposite a PRIMARY SCHOOL smoking a blunt with a few mates before and there was a cop standing upwind of us - so he mustve been able to smell it - and he just stood there, watching us, probably making sure we werent gonna vandalise anything. When we left, he just said to us 'alright lads' to which we replied 'alright'. He then walked off in the opposite direction.
Cops over here really dont care about people smoking Herb. So many people do it, that if they decided to devote all their to time and energy to it thered be no-one else apart from potheads and stoners in jail.
As long as youre not vandalising anything or smoking around kids, chances are theyll turn a blind eye.

By the way, it was like 10pm when we were in the park, so no kiddies around then.
