Most of the time the voice that narrates my thoughts is that of an old british lady, or if I'm thinking of someone, it will automatically switch to the voice of that person.

I think thats fucked up, the voice that naturally "talks" in your head is YOUR voice or what you think you sound like. If you think of someone and talk like them in your head, thats very different, that is you creating things in your head not your internal voice.

My reading/thinking voice just sounds like me when I talk to myself.
u can shut the internal chatter in your brain off by good medidation techniques trust me at 1st u still might think but try not to put names to any sounds u here give it a chance and sooner or later it will stop.

i know someone who is self mute 20 years old never speaks by choice (hence the 'self' in self mute lol) its weird.
