I just bought a volcano vaporizer. The only bummer thing about it is the smoke is captured by a plastic bag. So you smell plastic. I'm not sure if this smell goes away. Other than that I like it. I'm high without the burning and coughing! The volcano is the bomb.
ps I will continue to smoke a pipe, because it's so sensual. But I'm glad I got a volcano.

It has a large screen about 1 inch in diameter. I put a layer of mj on the screen, put the other screen on top to sandwich the herb, snapped on the coupling for heating. Once the unit warmed up, the yellow light goes off and the unit is ready to use. Put the bag on top and switch on the air compressor. Watch as the bag fills up. Like a jiffy pop bag. Turn unit off and remove bag. That's it. Inhale. No burning and coughing. Plus several puffs are stored in the bag, so it's easy to pass to someone else or put down and pick up later. Very easy, very convenient. Plus the herb can be resmoked several times. I stayed high all afternoon on the same herb, so a little goes a long way. Plus, after you're done vaporizing, make cannabutter, bake or smoke it again. I took some vaped herb and smoked it in my pipe. I got a real nice buzz from it.
