CLR? probly not, though...if you do use that, i think you should soak it in alcohol, then like wash it w/ soap n water a LOT and then maybe another cycle of alcohol n water? dont ask me, though...i have almost NO experience w/ cleaning screens or pieces...just a guesss i guess lol
thanks, thats what i figured i should do i also considered burning it of with a lighter.
don't use any additives, it could be bad... if anything, take your lighter, and hold the screen with pliars or something and burn the shit out of it... continue burning it til the screen is clean.. you will once in awhile have to rub at it to rub the ashy-burn crap off... after a few good 20-30 second burnings you should be good to go, it should burn off any impurities... and is atleast safer then soaking something in clr, or other harsh chemicals you're gonna be smoking out of (no offense, it was a good guess)
Hey how do you get them off I cant seem to be able to.
i always just got some plyers or a screwed driver and popped them out.
Fuck the foucet screen. I got an old bug screen that used to go on my window and use a small wire cutter to make screens that will fit different bowl sizes...
if you do this make sure you use a metal screen and not a cheap plastic one
I wouldn't use screens from faucets or windows. Just spend a buck for a five-pack of "Smokin' Screens" from the store.
