Dealing with the unreliable

Well today my dealer wasnt around, so i asked one of his friends to sell me an eigth.

It looked and smelled great.

Now a few minutes ago when i dumped it out on the table to check it out I saw a nug with a little spot of purple, almost black on it :(

So i picked it out and examined it closer, since none of the other nugs look like this ive come to the conclusion that its mold, and not a purple strain.

Now ive isolated the infected weed and put the rest in an airtight container, is there anything else i can do so i dont lose my weekend smokeage to mold?

yea smoke it all now then make your friends smoke you out.

ew. roll that shit up in a cherry blunt or something cuz burning mold cant possibly taste good.

no no no only ONE little bud had mold on it...i looked at every other nug and they looked just like the crisp dry hydro it smelled like, but i figured the rest was suseptible to mold since it was in a bag with a infected nug.

I obviously chucked the infected bud, i wouldnt smoke it thats the most rediculous thing ever, if i wanted to get really sick and throw up everywhere I would chug the 26er i have for tonight.

have you smoked any yet? if not, call him up, tell him you know it's moldy, and you want your money back. tell him you'll bring him the bag and he can weigh it out and see that none of it is missing.

also, be POLITE and CALM when you do this and you'll get a POLITE and CALM reaction out of him.

P.S. i didnt read your above post so my post may not work out... but you still should call him and tell him that it was moldy. ask him how long he had it too, and where he got it from. it's always better to KNOW your dealer's suppliers because they're basically your dealer too.

i didnt know him, he was just someone i had seen at my dealers house i dont know who he is i just know he sells, im not going to complain because it was nice of him to even sell me it, he doesnt usually sells such a little amount but he helped me out. Im not going to cause a stink over a little speck of mold on a .3 nug, i already smoked a bowl and the weed is fine.

LOL drugs dont work that way. You can't ask for your money back. LOL. Its .03, I loose that outta every bag prob. cuz I get so baked I end up dropping some in the carpet. Just smoke it and forget about it yo. :rasta: :D :stoned: :stoned: :stoned:

One little moldy bud isn't much cause for concern. When you have a lb. or more in a bag, all sorts of things can show up - I know this because I used to get weight, years ago, and found small rocks, other (non mj) flowers, dense little hash-like buds (kept those for myself, lol), even dead exotic bugs from Columbia, Jamaica, etc. Of course, you'd try to find these things before you bagged it up - but some things occasionally get past you - especially if you're stoned while working on it. :dance:

The good thing about today's domestic growers is that this problem has been eliminated, for the most part. I haven't found much crap in what I've bought in recent years - and for eighth, quarter, and half ounces, there shouldn't be.

The moldy nug can be smoked through a water bong.. NOT in a J.. It's REALLY bad for your lungs.. You could get sick from it.. Just take it easy with a nice water bong!:)

Yeah it sucks but we have to deal with it when our main people arent around :(.....or you could just get into growing ^_^.
