This is blatant propaganda for gearing americans for the extradition of Mark Emery. There are so many commercials that it might just change public perception of the good herb. Why don't they spend some fucking money on the real problems of the world like meth/crack ops and prescription drug abuse which could kill people. Kids are looking for other ways to get high, now they are turning to dust cans?? WTF!??
because RX drugs pull in more money for big business than weed does. Same for alchohol and shit.
The latest series of anti-drug ads are getting pathetic. There is one with a kid that has his fist in his mouth, and this lady is next to him translating what he's saying. "Yesterday my friends told me I should try marijuana, then today they told me to stick my whole hand in my mouth. I'm an idiot."
I think the newest slogan is "Above the Influence." Yah, that's great. And they are also really pushing the idea that pot makes you totally worthless and lazy, which we all know is oh so untrue. God damn Mongolians. lol.
Those commercials piss me off so much. Blatant lying, and terrible lying too. They are meant to hook the uninformed or impressionable. I just laugh at the stupid kid who tried to outrun the dog.
What about the one with the coinphrase "When you let others make decisions for you you lose your individuality" HYPOCRYTES!!!!
LOL... My favorite is the one with the two girls. The girl who has been smoking weed, she's completely limp, no bones, just looks like a mass of skin with a head and clothes on it lazily sitting on the couch. And the other girl sits around and talks... and is asked, "What do you all do for fun?" (or something along those lines).. and the girl is like, "This is pretty much it." Meaning, they just sit around all day and are lazy/lifeless.
Bullshit. I smoke EVERYDAY and still manage to make a 3.4 GPA in college. I hate commercials like that. As long as you're RESPONSIBLE about smoking, there should never be any problems. Gov't propaganda sucks hairy nuts. :thumbsup:
Yeah it doesnt make sense, they claim that marijuana is a social disrupter and for some reason theres a war against weed more than any other drug (publicly atleast) and it's the less harmful of all the narcotics out there :confused: doesnt make any sense....Quote:
