should i get the mh conversion bulb for my 400w hps? Like do i need it? its an extra $40 and i want to start growing ASAP and i want to order the light now.. but i dont have the extra $40 id have to wait .....
Would the plants grow good if i just used the 400w hps with 2 42w cfls for veg, and flowering????????

if i were you i would get the hps ballast and the mh bulb 1st . save the money 40 bucks and get the hps later.you can run a mh in a hps ballast, but you cant run a hps in a mh ballast.

I would just stick with an hps bulb...If you want metal halide then buy seperate unit, or build MH from raw ballast.
