cannabutter smell

I was wondering if your'e preparing weed to be eaten, whether in brownies or cannabutter, does it smell? I mean:
1) does it smell as you're preparing it--I don't want to stink up the kitchen and get caught
2) if put your nose up to the brownies/butter before eating it, does it smell like pot?

Well all I know is that when you heat up cannabis it wreaks of cannabis

i know for a fact that for your 1st question: when you put them in the oven the smell does seep out, u need to have the kitchen windows open and designate a 3-5 hour house-to-yourself period of time. also pick up a can of oxium non-scented air freshener for when the brownies are done and spray a bit around the kitchen, especially in front of the window.

when i made the cannabutter, you couldnt smell it from far away. In fact, when i was boiling it with the butter and a lid on, you couldnt even tell that it was weed. it had a smell, but it wasnt identifible. And it didnt stink up the kitchen and my windows were closed, but it is best to make it when you are home alone just to be safe.

The brownies do kinda smell. they smell different than regular brownies and thats how you can tell if they have pot in them. eating them won't stink up your breath tho like if you just smoke the weed.
