Do they prescribe Vicodin for migraines?
I get migraines alot, but 95% of the time Excedrin is enough to get rid of them...but my doctor doesn't need to know that. :D I do need to get a prescription for something stronger for the 5% of the time when excedrin doesn't work. Do doctors prescribe vicodin for migraines? Is there anything I can tell the doc to get that instead of something not nearly as fun? Is it inappropriate to just ask for vicodin? :)

You're the idiot. As I said above, YES, they do prescribe painkillers for migraines. Migraines are a pain, thus, things that make them stop are pain-killers. Just because they have a few drugs specific to migraines doesn't mean that's the only thing they use. The question is do they specifically prescribe Vicodin, or other painkillers instead, and is there anything special I can do to get it. Whether or not they prescribe painkillers at all is NOT the question.
