How do you disolve Powdered Nutes?

Got a free jar of Piranha from a supplier making up for a late shipment. Thought I'd try it out but discovered that this stuff doesn't mix well with water. I've been shaking this gallon jug for hours and I can't get just one teaspoon to mix.

Any suggestions?

btw...anyone see any conflicts with these nutes?....The Overdrive, bud blood and big bud will be used seperately from each other. Final Phase used only with water.

Not doubting your receipe Lakewood, just curious if the piranha will play well with the others.

Well warm water in a blender, then mix in a 5 gallon bucket and use a small pond pump to mix it for a day or two. Works like a charm, I was mixing for a 80 gallon tank.

You mix a small amount into a paste first then mix the paste into the water.

I use bigbud.. about a week after adding it you get a good few % more crystals

ok, I mixed 4 tsp of piranha thoroughly into a paste with warm water added 1/4 cup of warm water and stuffed that into a blender on high speed for 20 minutes. About burned up the blender. Let the stuff sit, and it seperated from about half of the water. I added about 1 pint of water and blended again for about 20 minutes. Stuff still seperates from the water and looks like brown dirt/silt on the bottom of the jug.

My question is...should I abandon the piranha from the receipe or is it normal for some additives to leave crap in the buckets? btw it's a flood and drain.
