I want to try eating weed to get the longer-lasting effects. However, I can't bake brownies or really heat anything up because my roommates won't want the house smelling like weed.
If I were to grind up some weed into a powder and let it soak in olive oil or vegetable oil for a week or two, would that work? What proportions of weed and oil should I use? I probably want to try it out with like just 0.5 grams first.
Wow. I'm not sure if that would work, but it is a great idea. It is my understanding that weed needs to be heated up before releasing any of the active ingredients. Maybe you could heat up the olive oil.
I can see it now; I'm at an italian restaurant and they ask me if I would like any olive oil with seasonings to dip my bread with....I would say," No Thanks. I brought my own! :dance:

You need to heat it up or it putting it in the olive oil will be pointless. Just take like a little grill somewhere were you wont have to have the smell matter and bring with you some charcale and lighter fluid to get it started. Hell my idea would be to just take a good 1/4 or so and put it into some ground up hamburger meat and make thoughs on the grill just make yourself one big hamburger or just fry up that 1/4 in 2 teaspoons of olive oil for like 5 mins but the pot has to be cooked eather way.
Using butter you do need to heat first, for obvious reasons. Using olive oil you dont. I know people who use a teaspoon of olive oil laced with cannabis before bed. This is my experience and my understanding. I have taken small buds and dipped them in an Olive Oil , baked them for 10 minutes on 200, and then removed them and dipped them in chocolate. Nice head candy.

ya no, i never really thought of the oil thing, but it shood work, i wood heat it up just a bit when i added it...and i c nuthun wrong withstorein it in ur fridge...but it nite smell abit if ya cook with it...good luck, and let me no if it works...:thumbsup:
