You better thank the lord youve never had em'.......
Hello all,
Well the never ending battle with spider mites is slowly taking its toll on me. No matter what i do, i cant seem to get rid of the little fuckers. Ive tried everything but 100% pure neam oil which im looking into.
If you have never had a problem with mites, you better thank the lord for blessing you with a mite-free grow environment. THEY RUIN EVERYTHING!
If you have, or did have a Spider Mite problem this is the thread to post your experiences and solutions to getting rid of the little buggers. I will be posting pics soon but i really need some advice for getting rid of mites during flowering (cold water method only works during veg) My lady is only 21 days into flowering and her pistils are already turning brown, im thinking this is because of mites because the only bud that has 100% white hairs has a very minimal amount of white specs on the leaves, where the others have TONS.
If anyone has any advice, you have no idea how helpful it would be.
Thanks
-SS

Have you tried 'torching the place? lol...Really, have you stripped and cleaned out your entire growroom...I had to stop production and strip flower room, due to pollen contamination. You might have to do the same. Sucks, huh?

KNOCOK ON WOOD, BUT I HAVENT HAD TO DEAL WITH MITES,,,,, YET. I'M SURE THEY'RE COMING SOMEDAY. BUT I DID GET THE WIND BLOWN OUT MY SAILS WITH THRIPS. THEY SCREWED MY HARVEST UP MY ABOUT 3 WEEKS, AND MY FINAL HARVEST IS WAY LOW. NEEM OIL WAS THE TICKET. KILLED EM ALL REAL DEAD. I WISHED I KNEW WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR SOONER. GOOD LUCK WITH UR CRITTERS.

Dude, I plan on suffocating the little mother fuckers with CO2.
Just purge your room full of CO2 for 15 minutes... every day for 2 weeks.
I don't know if this is "the right method", but that's what I'm going to do... clean, fast, effective, no mess,

I AM RUNNING CO2. I DON'T KNOW IF IT HELPS OR HURTS. NOT SURE WHAT LEVEL WOULD BE NECCISERY TO KILL EM.

LOL!
Yeah Turtle, that's a good idea. If you could find a way to have c02 running consistantly it'd probably be better for your plants, but I would say some c02 is better than none.

"I killed all of my spider mites by wrapping a clear bag around the plant, twist tieing it at the bottom and gassing it with C02 and leaving it for an hour. (Be careful, you can fry your plants) The end result is suffocated spider mites. No oxygen for them to breathe! Worked for me. But I only have 8 Plants. Might be harder for those with more."
Hrm.. interesting method but sounds a little dangerous to me.

neem oil works well, but you have to use it in cycles. it kills the adults but not the eggs. you have to break the cycle. it took me almost a month to get rid of mine. also with it being almost spring, go outside and find some ladybugs they love spider mites.
