Screens

Hey yall, Normally when we smoke we will just use the TIN FOIL, but as i read on this page everyone is saying how harmful it is for you. So what do u use instead, where can i get them, i need all the specifics thanks guys always a help

You can get pipe screens at any headshop.

Or, if you don't have one, go to a hardware store and look for faucet screens.

If you happen to be in an older washroom, pre-yr2000, feel underneath the faucet head and you should feel a screen. Those are used to catch any harmful grit that might happen to come through.

I hear newer homes don't have those anymore though.

Oh yes, and if you happen to get a screen from a washroom faucet, take a lighter and burn the screen a bit to kill all of the bacteria that comes through.

Thanks man, also one other thing. We are using a homemade gravity bong with the hollowed out mini flashlight as the bowl/stem.......would those still work? from the head shop or from the hardware store

just don't burn the plastic and you'll be fine although... that might be hard to do but i've never tried it so i'm not sure

I do the same thing flashlight bowls are really sweet and easy to use.

i made a one-hitter out of a mini mag-lite. the only bad part is how small the bowl is. at best, you can get 2 hits out of it...oh, well...

Mini Maglite, eh? Not a bad idea!

Faucet screens from any hardware store are cheap, easy to find, and work great.
