hey,
"To top, or not to top...that is the question..." :)
I have a couple M.F's about, 3-4 weeks into veg., and I had such a successful time topping a Blueberry cross, that I was wondering if anyone with personal exp. here, knows whether M.F's react well to topping.
I know very little about this strain except that it is a very pleasing smoke. I know some strains don't react well to topping and I was wondering if M.F was one of those.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, peace. :smokin:
As long as you don't CHOP it off brutaly, you should be ok..:)
Just be careful.. (btw, I don't have any experience with M.F.!:p)

Oh god yea, please top 'em, I have no firsthand experience but when over grow was up I was in touch with this guy growing the same strain and he said they respond to topping QUITE well :thumbsup:

Awesome! I topped her this morning, so in a week or so, I should be seeing them split into 2 tops again. :thumbsup: They're greedy bitches though! They were asking for fert. when they had their second set of leaves appear. I have never had a plant start turning yellow from a defic. so soon in its life.Quote:

you should see the new double haeds in 2-3 days....I wouldn't have topped them, personally...I have less hermie traits in plants from seed that I DO NOT top, than in plants that I DO top. so I quit topping. It is also easier to manage the single kola plants, the whole plant get's more direct light, because you don't have all that extra-wide canopy...Jmho hope this helps in the future.lw

I just had such a good yeild from doing it last time, that I had to do it again. I may try the FIM next time. Multiple tops. :stoned:
that's what is so cool with Indoor gardening...You can try a different method
everytime you start anew...goodluck
